Basil Tuna Melt

Yum! Today I came home from classes very hungry but at a loss for what I should eat. So I looked through my groceries and threw this little thing together.

So what we have here in the picture above are the ingredients for a healthy lunch time that tastes amazing. You will need a toaster oven or a traditional oven for this

What you will need:

Loaf of Asiago Cheese with Cracked Pepper bread
Can of tuna in OLIVE OIL
Any kind of cheddar cheese
Some Basil leaves
A sprinkle of Crazt Jane's seasoning

First thing is first you need a piece of asiago cheese and cracked pepper bread.
Take half a can of tuna to break up onto the bread, put some basil on top of that then comes the cheese!
Put the entire thing in the toaster oven on bake for a couple minutes then change the toaster oven to broil for a minute so the bread, spinach and cheese can brown a little.

Enjoy!

Caprese Bloody Mary

Welcome back! So tonight I have a recipe for those followers who are 21 and older. This is an unconventional bloody mary I thought of and just had to try. After making it tonight I feel that is is worthy of sharing with the public. So go ahead give it a try, if you tweak it let me know what you did so I can try it as well! Lets get started.

So as shown in the picture you are going to need your regular vodka (what ever brand you like), Bloody Mary Mixer, grape tomatoes, mozzarella balls, artichoke hearts, pesto, basil, and a little balsamic vinegar. Because these are pretty rich and savory I don't recommend mixing up GIANT drink sizes. I used a couple 6 oz jars for mine, but you are welcome to use what ever you like obviously.

Fill the cup 3/4 full of Bloody Mary mix
2 or 3 table spoons of pesto
1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
1 shot of vodka

Then for embellishments put 2 quartered artichoke hearts into the mix, then half a grade tomato, half a mozzarella cheese ball and a folded up basil leaf into a tooth pick to set on the side. At the end I put a little fresh cracked pepper on top and a couple pieces of ripped basil then drink!

It is pretty tasty, give it a go!

BBQ CHIP PANCAKES

Hello all! This is a blog dedicated to the food I like to make that is a little unconventional. For my first post I made pancakes with BBQ potato chips inside. THESE ARE GREAT! Below is a layout of all the ingredients used but I will tell you the recipe below. Feel free to give it a try. If you love a light savory sweet flavor this is for you.

2 cups of Biquick
2 eggs
1 cup of Milk

Whisk these three ingredients together until the clumps and chucks are gone. Butter the pan but make sure it is not too hot other wise the pancakes won't be a perfect golden color. Pour the pancake batter into the pan in what ever shape and size you like then add the potato chips. You can crumble them or put them in whole, just make sure to add them! Once cooked to perfection place onto a plate and add syrup! There is no going wrong, just keep an open palette.
